04-Shanghai Evening Tour

Pick up from your downtown hotel in Shanghai and drive across Huangpu River and get to Lujiazui in Pudong. Lujiazui literally means “Lu’s Mouth”. It is located in the Pudong New Area on the eastern bank of Huangpu River just across the Bund.

Lujiazui is one of the four economic districts in Pudong New Area. The other three economic districts are Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, the Jinqiao Export Processing Zone and Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park. Lujiazui is teemed with the futuristic, avant-garde buildings – Oriental Pearl Tower, Jin Mao Tower, Bank of China Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, Shanghai Tower and more.

Then ascend the 88-floor building – Jin Mao Tower, having a panoramic view of Huangpu River, the Bund and the city of Shanghai. The Jin Mao Tower is located next to Oriental Pearl Tower and Shanghai World Financial Center in the Lujiazui area of the Pudong district in Shanghai. It is composed of offices and the Shanghai Grand Hyatt Hotel. It is one of the centerpieces of the Pudong skyline.

The 88th floor is home to the Skywalk, a 1,520 m2 indoor observation deck with a capacity of over 1,000 people. It offers the panoramic views of Shanghai as well as a topside view below of the atrium of Shanghai Grand Hyatt Hotel inside Jin Mao Tower( occupying the floors from 53 to 87).

Pick up from your downtown hotel in Shanghai and drive to Shanghai Centre Theatre to watch the magnificent acrobatics show. The Acrobatics at Shanghai are not to be missed. They are held each night and last for about 2 hours. The Shanghai Acrobatic Troupe, established in 1951 is one of the best in China. It frequently tours internationally and perform routinely at Shanghai and other cities in China.

An acrobatic show has become one of the most popular evening entertainments for tourists in Shanghai. You can enjoy gravity-defying contortionism, juggling, unicycling, chair-stacking, and plate-spinning acts at the following stages.

After show, have a relaxed stroll along the Bund. Walking along the river on the promenade and enjoying the sights of the brightly lit street scenes are very enjoyable. Buildings in the Bund are the combination of all kinds of architecture styles.

From the Bund it is a great view of the Pudong Area including Orient Pearl TV Tower, Jin Mao Building, Shanghai Towers and more futuristic skyscrapers.
Many restaurants built along the river and have a good entire view of the Bund. So eatinfg in the Bund at night is also a joyful thing.

Then move on to Nanjing Road. Nanjing Road is a walking street that is always packed with people watching other people. It is regarded as the first commercial road in Shanghai. The 5.5-km long Nanjing Road is the most bustling and prosperous street in Shanghai.

Finally walk to Xintiandi. You are arranged to immerse yourself into the dazzling nightlife in “Xintiandi”. Shanghai Xintiandi is situated at Lane No.181 of Taicang Road Shanghai. It occupies an area of about 30,000 square meters. It was a former old Shikumen which has been given restoration. Now it serves as book stores, cafes and restaurants, and shopping malls.
